Just in time for my last few months of studying for my Doctoral Qualifying Exams!: I just put in my pre-order for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince!
And because I'm a grad-school snob who was (mercifully) introduced to these books by a student with the original English (as in "from England") editions, I've even ordered the adult version (with a more respectable cover) from Canada so as to make sure that I get the original English language that it was written in and not the dumbed-down American "translations."
Don't even get me started on being so contemptuous of American kids' intelligence, and having no regard for established medieval legend, that the Philosopher's Stone is idiotized into the "Sorcerer's" Stone...! I freakin' knew what the Philosopher's Stone was when I was eleven! Stupid American publishers!
(See? Total snob! I apologize. Really, I do!)
Oh, and aristotle2002 put a nice few shots in his journal from when he visited my estate this past summer....
