I just found out that I had my Odes of Solomon article accepted back in July, pending a few corrections/annotations, but that the notification went into my spam mailbox. If I didn't keep a secondary mail program up and running, copying everything in my correspondence, I would never have been able to find the thing. I only discovered all this when I just opened a response from the editor to my question about whether they had any use for my article, since I had never heard back from them. So now I'm eight months behind on what could be revisions I might have finished before the school year began. Super.
