bit of fun for family. I didn't take many pictures during the family gathering the other week, since my sister was organizing taking family portraits on her camera, but I did capture a few videos that might be fun for family, if not so much for anyone else. The first is Sophie shucking corn with her Grandpa, full of her cute, 2 1/4 year-old politeness, and an embarrassingly earthy comment from Grandpa to make her roll her eyes when she's watching this video in later years. The second is when we were trying to take a picture of all the kids (ages 7, 5, 2 1/4, and 9 months) in which we attempted the impossible: to get them to all smile at the same time.
eanwhile, while I diddle with my dissertation, tweak a bit of YouTube here, and have temptations to re-read Harry Potter, I get the following note from Kev:
