Also!

Haha, you are like the Universal Standard of Acceptability. Because you're my standard also!

Also, this is apparently the day where I make up for never commenting on your journal in less than twenty-four hours. :)

"My blushes!" to quote Holmes. If only I were this hot on the dating market!

It actually probably really means you have to become a priest, or at least Pope. Sorry. Your days on the dating market are numbered.

Somehow that's still so much less and more than what I'd hoped for! :-P Sorry!

Just read this again, and thought I'd add that one gag from my Notre Dame days is that sometime I'd tell people that I was in their "Pre-Papal Studies" program, implying that this was somehow a prerequisite program for election to the See of Peter. It was amazing how matter-of-factly most people just accepted that as perfectly sensible.

I am surrounded by very silly people. And yet I am no fun. How did this happen?
4th-Jan-2008 11:28 pm (UTC)
See? You just proved yourself wrong right there!

Say what now? (sorry, distracted by all the undergrads hitting on you in the other threads... :D )
5th-Jan-2008 01:23 am (UTC)
i could hit on you instead?

Even if you were willing to switch from the tallish-blue-eyes-silly-romantic male to the shortish-hazel-eyes-boring-practical female graduate student...

... I'd still rather not. *grin*

Green, actually.

And wait a minute: I thought you went to Bryn Mawr...?

Yes, this was all rather a bizarre and unexpected turn, wasn't it? No one ever told me that celibacy was so hot and I never recall that actually working for me, although I certainly saw that it did attract a certain population of ladies to hang out at the parties (which were many and fun) at the seminary at Notre Dame. Perhaps the draw is in the announcement rather than the mere fact, say in the implicit form of an implied dare....

I have a theory.
