Because I've put my iTunes library into my 160GB Firewire harddrive so that it's not maxing out my computer's 40GB harddrive anymore, it's time to add those classical albums to the playlist, along with any other stragglers. Today's random additions: Benjamin Britten's "Spring Symphony" (Chrysogonus Waddell told me that Britten was his favourite composer, so since I love Chrysogonus' music, I've got to check this out); the "Pathétique" of both Beethoven's and Tchaikovsky (great album), and Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble's "Greatest Hits 2."
myrhapsody has a great entry in her journal for the Feast of Thomas More, one of my personal heroes. I was pleased to be reminded of the outstanding qualities of a lay and family man, when the institution of the Church has so long (if understandably) recognized only those outstanding members who were directly involved and visible in the institution. The entry is so good, I've no need to write anything else, just to point to it.
