Loyola Faculty Portrait

My browser locked up as I was spellchecking--only one word to correct--my Theological Notebook entry on which I've been working the last two-and-a-half hours. Blessing the "auto-save draft" function, I restarted the program. Only to find the above word as my auto-saved entry. I feel like I should be more angry or ready to cry. Maybe I'm stuck between the two. Crap.

I have seen vesta_venus lose posts because of bad connections (our ISP is hideous at times, but we can't afford more). I can sympathize with you, and she can truly empathize with you.

Bailey's on ice might help ease the pain :-)

It's kind of profound, in the way that "City Slickers" was profound.

That's happened to me, too, and it makes me want to throw my computer through the wall.

Actually, now it is bringing to mind the profundity of the "Highlander" as well. See? It's not as bad as you thought.

This is why I started emailing my law school papers to myself as I wrote them.

Yeah, somtimes, particularly with really long posts, I CTRL-C them before pressing post, or put them in Notepad.

I often write offline, save the post, then post it. Finally convinced the wife to do that ... after God knows how many lost posts!
