Random: A Johannine gloss...

matthew_hyde is totally right when he notes that this is entirely messianic in tone. It's a Johannine gloss, as you'll all recognize: right from the Gospel of John, chapter 3. It is however, docetic or angelomorphic in its "non-human" stress, and thus heretical.

It's still going to be fun, though....

Yes, I meant Batman Begins. I'm glad you enjoyed it, and I hope you can take it in again so that you can follow it, too! I think it works that way as well! :-) The Ras al'Ghul twist at the end surprised me, too: I'm glad they pulled it off and kept it secret.

And yes, I will catch GOF, maybe next weekend with my Mom....

yes, i lent the film to my son but have asked for it back, so i can watch it again. he and i talked about it yesterday. he said that he didn't recognize gary oldman either and was surprised later on to find out who it was. he absolutely disappeared into that role, and was so likable! (there were few likable people in the film: alfred, gordon,... uh.)

the kids enjoyed GOF a lot. i hope you and your mom do, too. :)
